Mercor is seeking a Law Expert for a new research project under a global remote contract, approx 20 hours per week. Senior legal professionals will build and review expert legal tasks used to train and evaluate frontier AI models.

Qualified lawyers will apply high-level legal judgment to AI training workflows, ensuring rigorous analysis and compliance across diverse jurisdictions and complex datasets.

Qualifications

• Senior legal professionals with experience in AI or tech-related legal tasks.
• Ability to build and review evaluation tasks for AI training datasets.
• Strong judgment and familiarity with cross-jurisdictional law.
