Job summary

Institute for Law Enforcement Education (ILEE) in Pennsylvania seeks a Police Training Education Specialist to support statewide law enforcement training. Qualifications

• Four years of experience as a sworn law enforcement officer including one year of teaching or formal training experience in law enforcement programs
• Completion of 60 college credits
• Valid driver’s license and four years of experience as a uniformed vehicle patrolman
• PA residency requirement and ability to perform essential job functions

Responsibilities

• Review course plans, instructor needs, training materials, and facility readiness
• Deliver and return all required course materials and equipment for trainings
• Resolve issues involving scheduling, equipment, course materials, and facility arrangements
• Serve as a liaison with the public, vendors, law enforcement personnel, agencies, and PennDOT to support grant goals
• Maintain an accurate inventory of course materials and equipment
• Review and authenticate student compliance with course completion and certification requirements
