Job summary

The Military, Veterans and Diverse Job Seekers is seeking a Law Enforcement Instructor in Maryland to deliver beginner and advanced courses in tactics, officer safety, policies and procedures. You will design lesson plans, evaluate students, and provide management recommendations while adapting to rotating day/evening/weekend shifts.

A senior LE background and LEITP credentials are preferred, with duties including policy analysis, record keeping and coordinating class schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement or Police Science, exercise science, physical education, kinesiology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years LE experience
• Completion of Law Enforcement Instructor Training Program (LEITP) or equivalent
• Ability to work rotating hours/shifts
• Experience in developing/executing lesson plans & exercises in LE setting
