You will lead criminal justice training offerings, mentor students, and oversee program operations to meet state standards and accreditation requirements.

The role requires comprehensive instructional delivery across classroom, lab, and scenario-based settings, plus curricular development, advising, and collaboration with local public safety

Qualifications

• Must hold Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Current North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission General Instructor certification.
• Current North Carolina Instructor for General Instructor certification or ability to obtain within designated timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Teaches and delivers criminal justice and public safety training programs in accordance with state standards.
• Delivers instruction in traditional, hybrid, lab, and scenario-based environments.
• Maintains attendance, grading, certification, and training records; provides feedback on student progress.
• Advises and mentors students regarding educational and career goals.
• Assists with planning, scheduling, coordinating, and evaluating programs.
• Builds relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement partners.
