Job summary

MES Life Safety is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to support Police Departments and First Responders in North Jersey. The role involves building relationships, assisting with law enforcement equipment needs, and providing product training. A successful candidate will have effective communication skills and a background in sales.

This is a full-time position with potential for significant monthly commissions, 401k matching, and multiple insurance plans available.

Qualifications

• Effective listening, communication (verbal and written), and negotiating skills.
• Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.
• Able to perform business math (gross margin calculations, etc.).
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist Police Departments and First Responder departments with their law enforcement equipment needs.
• Provide end user training and product setup when necessary.
• Travel 25% within the assigned territory.
