The U.S. Border Patrol is hiring Border Patrol Agents with excellent pay, recruitment incentives up to $30,000, and strong job stability. EARN UP TO $30,000 IN RECRUITMENT INCENTIVES – Newly appointed Border Patrol Agents will be offered a $20,000 incentive, paid as $10,000 upon completing training at the Border Patrol Academy and the remainder after a three-year service agreement. Additional $10,000 available for agents accepting prioritized locations (Sierra Blanca, Presidio, Sanderson, Comstock, Freer, Hebbronville, TX; Lordsburg, NM; or Ajo, AZ).
Applicants currently in pre-employment do not need to reapply to be eligible for the incentive.

U.S. Border Patrol (USBP), within U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is hiring immediately for full-time, entry-level Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) positions.
Applicants with law enforcement experience can enter at higher grade levels (GL-9–GS-11).
Base salaries vary by grade and location, with potential for up to an additional 25% based on the BPA Pay Reform Act of 2014. Positions follow a career ladder progression from GL-5 to GS-12, with promotions after 52 weeks in each grade.

Border Patrol Agents detect, prevent, and apprehend undocumented individuals and smugglers, respond to alarms, interpret physical evidence, and patrol borders using various assets. Occasional travel may be required.
For GL-5: One year of general work experience or a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination.
For GL-7: One year of specialized work experience or a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement or related graduate education.
For GL-9 and GS-11: One year of specialized experience performing law enforcement duties such as searches, arrests, investigations, and working with law enforcement agencies.
U.S. citizenship, primary residency in the U.S. for at least three of the last five years, and eligibility for law enforcement retirement provisions. Age restrictions apply, with exceptions for veterans and current/former federal law enforcement personnel.
Training includes six months at the U.S. Border Patrol Academy, with language proficiency in Spanish encouraged.
