Rate of Pay/Benefits: | This is a Part-Time Adjunct Faculty position with the following pay rate per contact hour: Less than MA: $1,069 MA or Above: $1,109 The offer will be based on education and experience, in alignment with the College’s compensation philosophy and the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), if applicable. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: | Residency Requirement: Applicants must be residents of the state of Illinois. Minimum Degree: Juris Doctor or Graduate of an ABA-approved paralegal program with total education of a Bachelor's Degree plus 18 hours. Work Experience: ABA Requirements: Paralegal faculty must attend at least one ABA faculty meeting per calendar year and submit documentation of at least three hours of continuing education related to teaching. |
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: | Experience with a learning management system (LMS), particularly D2L Brightspace, is preferred. Curriculum development in online adult education is helpful. Looking for someone with experience teaching adults in asynchronous and synchronous formats. . |
