Premier AV rated civil litigation firm has an immediate opening for an experienced Law & Motion Attorney in their Los Angeles office. Significant Experience necessary in State Courts with general liability, trial preparation, and complex legal research experience. Research attorney experience a plus but not required. Must also have ability and desire to provide excellent work product that reflects strong research, writing, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, including Motions for Summary Judgment. We are looking for candidates who are motivated, reliable and can assume responsibility working as an integral part of a collaborative team as well as independently.

Responsibilities and Duties

Associates are given meaningful, hands on legal work at every stage of their careers while working closely with other attorneys and Partners. Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a track record of insightful research and persuasive writing abilities.

Qualifications and Skills

• JD from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice in California
• Experienced lawyer with salary commensurate with experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Trial experience is a plus but not required
• Excellent oral advocacy skills and excellent writing skills absolutely required
• Must be able to routinely meet deadlines and be prepared to be responsive to client requests/needs on a daily basis
• State court experience

Salary Range

Salary ranges from $135,000 - $185,000 (DOE/DOQ), has full benefits, and is currently remote with your own flexibility.
