The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a part-time Laundry Worker in Silver Bay to operate washing machines and dryers, sort and process resident laundry, and maintain linens. Rotating day and afternoon shifts are required, with a schedule that ensures coverage and timely delivery of clean laundry to residents.
Minimum qualifications include knowledge of laundry processing and the ability to lift and carry laundry items; preferred qualifications include infectious control

This position will be used to fill one (1) part-time Laundry Worker position. This position is rotating day and afternoon shifts. The day shift is 7:00am-3:30pm, the afternoon shift is 11:00am-7:30pm.
The work schedule will include at least 64 hours per two-week pay period and may include additional work hours, based on business needs. The position is initially eligible for full employer contribution towards health and dental insurance benefits.
Operate washing machines and dryers. Wash, dry, fold and hang all resident laundry and replace bed linens, when applicable. Collect, sort and distribute Resident laundry.
