Job summary

Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, NV is seeking a team member to operate and maintain stock chasers, complete daily operation and safety checklists, and deliver linen and supplies to hotel floors.

You will coordinate with laundry and housekeeping, ensure bins are attached securely, maintain appropriate speeds in hallways, take inventory, and follow hotel rules for safe, efficient facilities operations. Shifts include nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to read and perform basic tasks.
• Able to count items numerically.
• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
• Desire to work with people.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain stock chasers; complete daily safety checklists.
• Deliver linen and supplies to assigned floors.
• Coordinate with laundry and housekeeping on linen flow.
• Ensure bins are securely attached and operate at safe speeds.
• Take inventory of housekeeping linen closets on each floor.
• Follow hotel rules for safe facility operations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain stock chasers. Complete daily checklist on operation and safety checklist.
• Work with laundry and housekeeping to maintain and ensure clean linen is delivered to the appropriate floors in the hotel.
• Ensure bins are attached securely and safely to the stock chaser.
• Maintain correct speed while operating in the hallways.
• Deliver bins to the proper areas throughout the hotel.
• Take inventory throughout housekeeping linen closets on each floor.
• Comply with Hotel rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operations of Hotel facilities.
• Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly standing, occasionally walking, reaching overhead, and bending over during the duration of their shift.
• Must be able to occasionally lift/carry and push/pull up to 10lbs or less.
• The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands and light and firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
• Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.
