Job summary

This hospitality position involves providing linen and supplies to Guest Room Attendants, helping strip rooms, and maintaining cleanliness of linen rooms.

You will assist with daily housekeeping tasks, handle waste, deliver amenities, and follow safety guidelines. The role requires flexibility for holidays, nights, and weekends, and you must be at least 16 years old.

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environments.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and writing skills required; able to complete complex tasks.
• Must have coordination, precision, ability to follow instructions, and memorization.
• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide linen and supplies to Guest Room Attendants as requested.
• Assist attendants by stripping rooms and removing soiled linen.
• Maintain cleanliness of linen rooms and supply closets on assigned floors.
• Alert management when items are needed for supply closets.
• Pick up linen and garbage from housekeeping carts throughout the day.
• Perform special projects as assigned by Floor Managers.
• Enter work orders in our maintenance program and follow them to completion.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of all guest corridors.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the shared Team Member bathrooms on their assigned floors.
• Report any breakages or damages to the appropriate Team Members.
• Deliver amenities to guest rooms.
• Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, frequently crawling, climbing, balancing, and occasionally sitting during the duration of their shift.
• Must be able to constantly push/pull and lift/carry up to 50lbs or less.
• The team member will have constant repetitive use of both feet, both hands, light and firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
• Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
