Salary: $15.69 - $21.97 Hourly
$32,645 - $45,703 Annually
This position is a Pay Band 25.
Position Overview: Incumbent will pick up soiled linen from all units throughout NMBHI, assist in operating the ironer, and ensure proper sorting and distribution of laundry.
Ideal Candidate: Experience with laundry marking, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and using commercial laundry equipment; ability to sort whites from colors and handle laundry efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications: Eighth Grade Education.
Employment Requirements: Valid New Mexico Driver's License.
Working Conditions: Work in an institutional laundry setting involving standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds (80 with assistance), exposure to humidity, steam, fumes, chemicals, and loud machinery noise. No tobacco or E-cigarettes allowed on campus.
