Overview:

Responsible for performing various operations in processing soiled and clean linen, utilizing laundry equipment, and applying individual skills. Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience: None required.
• Preferred Experience: Laundry experience beneficial but not required.
• Required Education: None required.
• Certifications: None required.
• Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Responsible for soiled linen shake out, feeding ironers, dry folding of linen, and may assist in sewing room as needed. Physical requirements include lifting up to 30 pounds, standing for long periods, pushing/pulling up to 40 pounds, gripping up to 50 pounds, pinching up to 15 pounds, and minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Equipment used includes washers, dryers, ironers, and folders.
