Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will handle washing, drying, folding, and distribution while following infection control and safety policies.

Responsibilities include operating laundry equipment safely, keeping records, and delivering friendly service to residents, staff, and visitors. Physical tasks and routine duties are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must follow instructions and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
