Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker to ensure clean linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute items, and maintain records while following infection control policies.

You should have a high school diploma (preferred) and be able to lift up to 50 pounds; previous laundry experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
