Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and garments for a long-term care facility. You will handle washing, drying, folding, and distribution while ensuring safety and quality. Training and ongoing support are provided by the team.

Responsibilities include operating laundry equipment, keeping records, and upholding infection control standards. You will engage with residents, staff, and guests to deliver reliable service and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
