Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and garments for a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, sort and distribute items, and support staff with timely, courteous service.

A positive attitude and clear communication are essential; you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work around cleaning products. High school diploma preferred; prior laundry experience welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
