Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Laundry Worker to help maintain clean, ready linens and garments for residents in a long‑term care facility. You will join a team dedicated to quality and resident comfort.

You will operate laundry equipment safely, follow infection control guidelines, and interact positively with residents and staff. Lifting up to 50 lbs and standing long shifts are required; residency within the service area is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Must follow safety and infection control guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
