Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and garments in a long-term care facility, supporting residents and staff with reliable, high-quality service.

You will operate laundry equipment safely, track activity records, follow infection control policies, and provide courteous customer service while handling routine duties. This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a willingness to work where cleanliness and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and effective communication with occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
