Liberty Community Living Center is seeking a diligent Laundry Tech to support the facility’s operations. You will sort, wash, dry, press, and fold textiles, track items, and keep equipment and supplies organized, while providing friendly service to residents and staff.

The role requires basic arithmetic, the ability to stand for long periods, and availability for shifts on weekends. Prior laundry experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is acceptable.

Formación

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Basic arithmetic ability for tasks and counting items.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Sorting, washing, drying, pressing and folding textiles.
• Removing stains using proper procedures.
• Performing minor sewing duties.
• Tracking which items belong to whom.
• Keeping inventory of detergents and sewing kits.
• Tracking maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment.
• Keeping the facility clean at all times.
• Responding to customers’ queries, concerns and complaints.
• Keeping change/tokens available for machines if needed.
