Job summary

Asbury Communities, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Aide to transport laundry, sort clothing, and maintain equipment across resident apartments. The role requires attention to detail and reliable daily performance.

Full-time position with a schedule of 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with every other weekend and holiday off. Pay rate is $15.50/hour, plus generous benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401K with match; PTO and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred but not required.
• Related work experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport laundry to and from resident apartments.
• Keep clothing sorted by each apartment.
• Inspect laundry on a regular basis for tears, holes or sub-standard conditions.
• Clean and maintain laundry equipment.
• Operate iron per standard and ensure that it is shut off when not in use.
• Notify Manager on Duty of malfunctioning equipment, supplies needed, damaged linens- to ensure laundry operation is running at maximum efficiency level.
