Job summary

Asbury Communities in York County is seeking a full-time Laundry Transport staff member. Responsibilities include transporting laundry to and from resident apartments, inspecting laundry for quality, and maintaining laundry equipment. The pay rate is $15.50 per hour, with a schedule of 80 hours bi-weekly, 7am to 3:30pm, with every other weekend and holiday off.

Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and related work experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred but not required.
• Related work experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport laundry to and from resident apartments.
• Keep clothing sorted by each apartment.
• Inspect laundry regularly for tears, holes or sub-standard conditions.
• Clean and maintain laundry equipment.
• Operate iron per standard and ensure it is shut off when not in use.
• Notify Manager on Duty of malfunctioning equipment.
