Job summary

OTO Development is seeking a Laundry Team Member to operate laundry equipment, load and unload textiles, apply appropriate formulas, and maintain cleanliness in the laundry area. The role supports guest satisfaction by timely handling textiles and adhering to safety guidelines.

The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced hotel environment. This is an hourly role within Housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing and drying equipment
• Load and unload textiles from machines
• Measure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to formulas provided
• Monitor feeder information on washers, report irregularities to supervisor
• Set proper drying and cooling times for linen
• Clean machines and surrounding areas
• Sort linen and terry items
• Pre-treat items for stains as needed
• Fold linen and terry according to property specifications
• Transport linen within the laundry area and to storage areas
• Comply with hotel safety requirements for supplies, equipment, and facilities
• Other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor

We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Laundry Team Member.

What will you be doing most days?

• Operate washing and drying equipment
• Load and unload textiles from machines
• Measure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to formulas provided
• Monitor feeder information on washers, make sure all drums are full, and report any irregularities to immediate supervisor
• Set the proper drying and cooling times for different types of linen
• Clean machines and surrounding areas
• Sort linen and terry items
• Pre-treat items for stains as needed
• Fold linen and terry according to property specifications
• Transport linen and terry within the laundry area and to linen storage areas within the hotel
• Comply with hotel safety requirements for supplies, equipment, and facilities
• Other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor

Physical Requirements For This Position

This position will require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding areas.
