Job summary

OTO Development operates a hotel property in Burbank, CA and seeks a Laundry Team Member to operate washing and drying equipment, load textiles, and prepare linen according to formulas.

You will collaborate with the Housekeeping team, maintain cleanliness, and ensure guest satisfaction while following safety guidelines. This is an hourly, full-time role reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Job description

We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Laundry Team Member.

What will you be doing most days?

• Operate washing and drying equipment
• Load and unload textiles from machines
• Measure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to formulas provided
• Monitor feeder information on washers, make sure all drums are full, and report any irregularities to immediate supervisor
• Set the proper drying and cooling times for different types of linen
• Clean machines and surrounding areas
• Sort linen and terry items
• Pre-treat items for stains as needed
• Fold linen and terry according to property specifications
• Transport linen and terry within the laundry area and to linen storage areas within the hotel
• Comply with hotel safety requirements for supplies, equipment, and facilities
• Other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor

Physical Requirements For This Position

This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.

Travel Requirements

This position will require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding areas.
