Job summary

Maple Knoll Village, a BHI Senior Living Community in Cincinnati, is seeking a Laundry Worker to ensure residents have clean linens and clothing, supporting infection control and daily operations. The role emphasizes care, dignity, and a safe home-like environment.

You will follow policies, manage laundry schedules, and assist the team on a full-time day shift with every other weekend and some holidays. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of laundry experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of two years of professional laundry experience.
• Ability to learn on-the-job and follow training instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow community policies for handling, storing, processing, and transporting laundry.
• Comply with infection control requirements and use PPE as necessary.
• Establish and adhere to laundry schedules; assign duties to team members.
• Sort and load laundry as designated.
• Wash linen, clothing and other items; record weights per load.
• Iron linen and clothing.
• Read labels before washing and handle residents' garments with care.
• Report damaged or lost items to supervisor; arrange repairs or replacements.
• Ensure residents' garments are properly labeled; manage linen inventory and report shortages.
• Work full-time day shift 6:30a–2:30p, every other weekend and some holidays.
