Job summary

CleanCare in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Plant Worker to join our on-site team. You will sort, wash, fold and transport linen, pack items by customer orders, and operate facility equipment to meet daily production needs.

This full-time, day-shift position requires reliability, good communication, ability to lift 50 lbs, and tolerance for hot and humid environments. Benefits include PTO, 401(k), holidays and health plans.

Responsibilities

• Maintain established productivity standards.

• Maintain company-wide DART accident rate at or below 2.
• Other duties as assigned.

Description

Plant Worker

Job description: Sorting, washing, folding, and transporting linen throughout the facility. Counting and packing items according to customer order requests. Properly utilize facility equipment to complete daily production needs. Communicate product defects, equipment malfunctions and errors to supervisor or maintenance team. Adhere to all plant safety protocols including but not limited to company and OSHA standards. Maintain a clean working environment. Work collaboratively to meet company goals.

Soil Distribution Department: Sort all soiled linen throughout the day.

Reports to: Plant Supervisor
