Job summary

Loews Hotels & Co is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Manager of Laundry to ensure our laundry operations run efficiently and meet high standards of cleanliness and quality. You will support the Manager in overseeing daily operations, lead a team of laundry attendants, and uphold impeccable linen and garment care for our guests and property.

The role requires previous laundry or housekeeping experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry operations or housekeeping preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations of laundry facilities, including washing, drying, and finishing processes.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure proper handling and care of linens, uniforms, and guest items.
• Inspect finished products for cleanliness and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of production and inventory.
• Supervise laundry attendants during shifts.
• Provide on-the-job guidance and reinforce safety and operational standards.
• Assist with scheduling and timekeeping as directed by the Manager.
