The role collaborates with engineering, HR, and operations to keep equipment reliable and processes compliant with HLAC, OSHA, and JCAHO.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Management or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 1–3 years of operations or management experience in laundry or large-scale plants.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Windows-based office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Laundry Operations Manager - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage staff development and training to ensure efficient and high-quality linen production.
• Assist the Operations Manager in financial oversight, including cost control and budget adherence.
• Ensure the plant operates cost-effectively while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Serve as a liaison with engineering to maintain and improve production equipment performance and safety.
• Support HR functions, including training, regulatory compliance, staffing, payroll, and benefits administration.
• Participate in plant safety committees and ensure full regulatory compliance with industry standards.
• Attend and document laundry surveys for prospective clients, supporting business growth initiatives.
• Assist with staff performance appraisals, coaching, and disciplinary processes.
• Contribute to forecasting capital expenditures and overseeing new equipment installations and productivity enhancements.
• Develop action plans and personal development plans for supervisors, supporting leadership growth and effective succession planning.
