Responsibilities

• Assist the laundry van driver with distribution and removal of linens.
• Mix and add detergents, dyes, and chemicals for cleaning.
• Operate washing machine, dryer, and pressing machine.
• Clean machine filters and perform maintenance checks.
• Iron or press sheets and other linens.
• Sort and fold articles as needed.
• Examine and sort articles for cleaning.
• Pre-soak and spot-clean contaminated articles.
• Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and linen carts.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
