Job summary

Dollywood Parks & Resorts is seeking a Laundry Attendant for Dollywood's DreamMore Resort & Spa. The role involves operating commercial laundry equipment, loading/unloading machines, folding, and maintaining cleanliness and safety across the laundry area at Dollywood's DreamMore Resort & Spa in Pigeon Forge, TN.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 6–12 months of prior laundry experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Six to 12 months previous commercial laundry experience preferred.
Offers of employment contingent upon onboarding, background screening and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

Safely operates commercial washers, dryers and folding machines; loads and unloads all machines.
Measures and applies cleaning agents per product specifications.
Monitors washers to ensure drums are full; reports irregularities to supervisor; sets drying times for linen.
Operates folders and other laundry equipment per product specs.
Cleans machines and surrounding areas; maintains safety and cleanliness of work area.
Maintains regular attendance and works overtime as required.
Operates laundering equipment to safely clean and press linen; keeps area orderly.
Alerts supervisor if equipment stops functioning to keep operations smooth.
Program and operate ironer; adjust dryers and washers by load; manage linen sorting.
Counts and stocks linen shelves; participates in monthly linen inventory.
