Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Pocono Manor, PA is seeking a Laundry Attendant to sort, wash, fold and distribute linens across our resort facilities. You will operate laundry equipment and help maintain a clean, organized work area to support a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• General laundry or housekeeping knowledge involving at least 1 year preferred.
• Hotel/Resort experience preferred.
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.

Responsibilities

• Understand operation of washing machines, dryers, presses, folding machines, etc.
• Wash and dry all linens, towels, rags, inventory needed for resort
• Sort all hotel linen according to type, color, size, etc
• Operate iron as per standard and ensure that it is shut off at the end of the shift.
• Maintain clean work area. Sweep and mop laundry floors, storing all linens off the floor and in designated areas on a daily basis
• Clean dryer filter daily and maintain all equipment as trained
