Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Laundry Attendant. In this role you will sort, wash, fold and distribute linens, towels and napkins across the resort laundry.

As part of our team you’ll lead with care, support colleagues, and deliver clean, fresh linens essential to guest experiences. The position offers $14/hr with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Hotel or resort experience is preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing machines, dryers, and folding equipment.
• Sort linens by type, color, and size.
• Wash, dry, and distribute linens, towels, and tablecloths.
• Iron and press as required and keep area clean.
• Maintain and sanitize laundry work area daily.

Laundry Attendant

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking aLaundry Attendant. In this role, you willbe responsible for sorting, washing, folding and distributing all linens, towels, napkins and tablecloths.

As part of our leadership team,you'll embody our Promise toLead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences.

$14/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Understand operation of washing machines, dryers, presses, folding machines, etc.
• Wash and dry all linens, towels, rags, inventory needed for resort
• Sort all hotel linen according to type, color, size, etc
• Operate iron as per standard and ensure that it is shut off at the end of the shift.
• Maintain clean work area. Sweep and mop laundry floors, storing all linens off the floor and in designated areas on a daily basis
• Clean dryer filter daily and maintain all equipment as trained

WhatWe'reLooking For

• General laundry or housekeeping knowledge involving at least 1 year preferred
• Hotel/Resort experience preferred
• A leadership stylerootedin collaboration, respect, and service to others.
• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
