Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health is seeking a Laundry Helper for Hale Makua Health Services in Maui, HI. The role focuses on keeping residents' linens and clothing clean, sanitary, and readily available for daily use.

Responsibilities include sorting, folding, loading, and delivering laundry, maintaining usage logs, and assisting with space and cart sanitation. Prior institutional laundry experience is preferred; TB clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in institutional laundry preferred.
• Ability to maintain logs related to linen usage.
• Comfort with cleaning and preparing laundry spaces and carts.

Hale Makua Health Services is a Maui based non-profit that improves the well-being of those in its care through compassionate personalized health services. We are devoted to helping Maui's Elders live their best lives. Hale Makua's Wailuku location is a 90-bed nursing facility.

The Position:

We're looking for a passionate Laundry Helper whose main desire is to ensure our residents have clean, sanitary, linens and clothing.

• Sorts, folds, stacks, loads and delivers residents clothing and linen.
• Maintains logs related to linen and other supply usage.
• Helps clean and prepare the laundry work spaces and delivery carts.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in institutional laundry preferred.
• Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).
