Job summary

Nemacolin in Pennsylvania’s Laurel Highlands seeks a Laundry Driver to move and prepare linen across the resort, operating laundry equipment and a box truck to ensure clean, guest-ready linens reach the right destinations.

The role combines driving, laundry tasks, and physical activity, with opportunities to grow within the resort. Flex shifts including weekends are required, with teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a box truck.
  • Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, standing, and walking for extended periods.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures and operational instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

  • Transport, sort, load, unload, and distribute linen across the resort.
  • Process and prepare an average of 80 pounds of clean linen daily while maintaining quality standards.
  • Operate washers, dryers, carts, box trucks, and other laundry equipment safely.
  • Maintain equipment, work areas, and linen supplies; communicate needs as they arise.
  • Complete deliveries accurately and support efficient daily operations across departments.

Job description

Combining safe driving, dependable laundry operations, and attention to detail, as a Laundry Driver, you will manage the movement and preparation of linen throughout the resort while operating equipment responsibly and efficiently. Your work helps keep Nemacolin’s guest experience polished and seamless by ensuring clean, well-presented linens reach the right destinations when they are needed. This role offers an opportunity to build practical hospitality and operations expertise while contributing to the standards guests experience across the property.

What You Will Create
  • A dependable flow of clean linen across the resort by transporting, sorting, loading, unloading, and distributing linen where it is needed
  • A consistent supply of guest-ready linen by processing and preparing an average of 80 pounds of clean linen daily while maintaining established quality standards
  • Safe, efficient laundry operations by operating washers, dryers, carts, box trucks, and other equipment properly while following safety procedures
  • An organized and responsive laundry operation by maintaining equipment, work areas, and linen supplies and communicating operational needs as they arise
  • A strong service partnership with resort teams by completing deliveries accurately, responding to changing needs, and supporting efficient daily operations
