Job summary

Omni Hotels in Asheville, NC is seeking a Laundry Attendant to ensure timely processing of linens for Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Spa while minimizing waste.

You will operate washers, dryers, ironers and folders, load linen onto carts, and deliver to guest floors and F&B areas. This role requires physical stamina, flexibility to work weekends/holidays, and the ability to pass an MVR.

Qualifications

• Able to stand for up to 7 hours per shift.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Able to push/pull carts up to 250 pounds throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Sort dirty linen from laundry chute for processing.
• Operate washers, dryers, ironers and towel folders.
• Stack clean items into laundry bins/trucks for guest room floors or F&B areas.
• Operate smaller washers/dryers for specialty items or guest requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations as instructed by OSHA and Omni Hotels & Resorts.
• Drive box truck to and from laundry facility and resort.
