Qualifications

• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, press, and fold clothing and other textile items.
• Track and maintain a monthly waste log of any stained or discarded items.
• Remove stains from items using the appropriate procedures.
• Perform minor sewing duties.
• Maintain an updated inventory of laundry detergents and other chemicals. Track maintenance and repairs on laundry equipment.
• Ensure the facility remains clean and orderly.
• Anticipate and respond to customers' queries, concerns, and complaints.
• Perform rotation cleaning duties and ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.
• Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests (e.g., iron and ironing boards).
• Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by the manager/supervisor.

Job Overview

The Laundry Attendant's responsibilities include cleaning, pressing, and folding clothes and other textile articles. The ideal candidate will also maintain records of which items belong to whom and consult with customers about supplementary laundering-related services. To be successful, you should demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. [CM1]

Key Responsibilities

• Laundry Operations:
