Job summary

Courtyard Lima in Lima, Ohio seeks a Laundry Attendant to manage linen processing, washing and folding, and maintain clean, organized laundry facilities. You will support guest-focused service, work with team members, and follow safety and cleanliness procedures.

Your role requires reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle varied shifts in a hospitality environment at MCR-managed properties.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred.
• Can-Do Attitude: Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to Follow Guidelines: Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Handle Pace and Pressure: Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Listening, Conflict Resolution: Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns.
• Communication Skills: Must be able to convey information clearly.
• Hospitality and Guest Service: Must have a desire to serve all guests.
• Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older to perform this job.
• Schedule and Travel: Must be willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Clock-in/Out: Be on time and clock in/out as scheduled.
• Breaks: Clock in/out for breaks on schedule.
• Call Outs: Provide notice when calling out.

Responsibilities

• Performs all stages of linen processing including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading, unloading of washers/dryers, folding and delivering.
• Wash and dry dirty linens, remove/sort, fold and stock linen carts.
• Understand operation of washing machines and dryers; maintain equipment as trained.
• Sweep and mop laundry floors; keep back of house areas clean and organized.
• Replace and replenish cleaning chemicals.
