Job summary

Laundry Attendant position at Homewood Suites by Hilton Greenville Downtown, Greenville, SC, with Parks Hospitality Group. You will operate laundry equipment, sort and treat linens, load/unload machines, and ensure clean, well-organized laundry areas to support guest comfort.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines, according to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Sort and pre-treat soiled linens and garments to remove stains and prepare them for washing.
• Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring proper capacity and distribution.
• Monitor laundry cycles and adjust settings to ensure thorough cleaning and drying.
• Inspect laundered items for quality control, removing damaged or stained items.
• Fold and stack clean linens and garments, following hotel procedures for storage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room, including regular cleaning of machines and surfaces.
• Restock linens in guest areas as necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels and request replenishment of laundry supplies.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
• Report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors or Engineering.
• Assist with other housekeeping or laundry-related tasks as required.
