Job summary

Parks Hospitality Group is seeking a dependable Laundry Attendant for Homewood Suites by Hilton Greenville Downtown. You will operate laundry equipment and ensure linens and garments are clean and well-organized to support guest comfort.

Candidates should be available Saturdays and Sundays; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with prior laundry or housekeeping experience a plus. We offer competitive pay and day-one benefits for full-time team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate washers, dryers, and ironing equipment following safety guidelines.
• Sort, pre-treat, load, and unload laundry to ensure cleanliness.
• Monitor cycles, inspect items, and error-correct as needed.
• Fold, stack, and store linens per hotel procedures.
• Maintain a clean laundry area and restock supplies as needed.
• Assist with other housekeeping tasks as required.

At Parks Hospitality Group, we are looking for a dependable Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating laundry equipment and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of linens and garments, contributing to the comfort and satisfaction of our guests.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines, according to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Sort and pre-treat soiled linens and garments to remove stains and prepare them for washing.
• Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring proper capacity and distribution.
• Monitor laundry cycles and adjust settings to ensure thorough cleaning and drying.
• Inspect laundered items for quality control, removing damaged or stained items.
• Fold and stack clean linens and garments, following hotel procedures for storage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room, including regular cleaning of machines and surfaces.
• Restock linens in guest areas as necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels and request replenishment of laundry supplies.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
• Report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors or Engineering.
• Assist with other housekeeping or laundry-related tasks as required.

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
