Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in New Haven, CT is seeking a linen room attendant to support our housekeeping team. You will operate laundry equipment to process hotel linen efficiently.

Responsibilities include sorting, pressing, delivering clean linen to the proper closets by item and recording deliveries, maintaining par levels, and keeping work areas clean and free of lint.

Additional duties as assigned and daily chute and trash management as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate dryers, washers, ironers and chute.
• Sort, press, clean and store hotel linen.
• Deliver linen to proper linen closets by item and record deliveries.
• Operate towel folder.
• Clean all dryers at least 3 times a day.
• Inventory and maintain par levels of all linen closets.
• Clean area and blow down all machines.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
• Inventory housekeeping linen closets daily.
• Deliver housekeeping and banquet linen to specified closets.
• Stock all closets according to par levels.
• Pick up dirty linen from banquet pantries.
• Empty chute daily.
• Empty dryers and assist in folding terry.
• Deliver robes to linen closets and stock according to par.
• Empty trash and keep work areas clean and free of lint.
