Job Description

This position ensures that all Housekeeping and Food & Beverage linens are processed efficiently, meeting Omni Hotels & Resorts standards while minimizing waste.

Responsibilities

• Sorting dirty linen from laundry chute for processing.
• Picking up dirty linen from Food & Beverage outlets and banquets.
• Operating washers, dryers, ironers, and towel folders.
• Stacking clean items into laundry bins/trucks for delivery to guest rooms or Food & Beverage areas.
• Processing specialty items or guest requests with smaller washers/dryers.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the department.
• Following safety and sanitization regulations as per OSHA and Omni standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 pounds frequently.
• Capability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch regularly.
• Ability to understand and follow spoken instructions.
• Willingness to travel within the hotel for linen pick-up/delivery.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays (availability on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday required).
