Job summary

John Knox Retirement Tower in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support our independent living community. The position runs Monday through Thursday from 8am to 2pm, offering steady part-time hours in a faith-based, non-profit setting serving vulnerable senior adults.

You will process laundry for residents on our Catered Care program, including collecting, washing, drying, folding, and some ironing, then returning clothing to residents promptly and with care.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry or janitorial work preferred.
• Able to lift and move baskets, and perform routine housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process laundry for residents on Catered Care program.
• Wash, dry, fold or hang clothes as required.
• Return clothing to residents in a timely and respectful manner.
• Assist with ironing as needed.

Laundry Attendant Position

Monday - Thursday 8am -2pm

Thank you for your interest in this position. We are a faith based, non-profit business working with vulnerable senior adults. This position will be working with our independent living community.

We are looking for an experienced individual, to process the laundry for our residents on our Catered Care program. The individual must be capable of the following duties (but not limited to):

• Collecting (walking, transporting, lifting baskets/hampers)
• Washing/Drying
• Folding and/or hanging
• Some ironing may be required

This individual will also be responsible for returning the clothing to the proper resident and in a timely manner.
