Job summary

Hilton Parsippany is seeking a Full-time Linen/Laundry Attendant to support housekeeping operations in Parsippany, NJ. You will sort, wash, iron, fold and stock linen for guest rooms and F&B service, while ensuring safe operation of laundry equipment and reporting any issues to supervision.

A positive team player with strong work ethic and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required. Training provided; opportunities for growth within the hotel.

What you will be doing

• Sort, weigh, wash, dry, iron, fold and stock guest room and Food & Beverage linen
• Know and follow the operating functions of all equipment, reporting any damage, hazards or defective equipment to a supervisor
• Utilize chemicals used in washing, controlling quantities of supplies as recommended by chemical supplier with approval of Executive Housekeeper
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Follow all Material Safety Data Sheet documents and management company Safety Standards

• Physical Requirements (In-Office Role)
• Ability to work in a standard office environment.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. (6-8 hours a day)
• Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday.
• Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items.
• Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies).
