Lotus Hospitality Management is seeking a hotel laundry attendant to manage washing, drying, ironing, and folding of hotel linens and guest clothing while preserving cleanliness and orderly operation of laundry equipment.

The role includes stain treatment, minor sewing repairs, and ensuring proper stock of detergents and supplies. You will assist housekeeping with daily tasks and uphold safety and hygiene standards in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or institutional laundry operations preferred.
• Knowledge of stain treatment and minor repairs is desirable.
• Familiarity with safe handling of cleaning chemicals and laundry equipment.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, iron, fold, and sort hotel linens, towels, and guest clothing to standard.
• Pre-treat stains and report damaged items for replacement or repair.
• Operate and maintain washers, dryers, and ironing equipment safely; clean filters and ensure machinery functions.
• Track detergents, sewing kits, and supplies; keep stock levels adequate.
• Deliver clean linens to guest rooms or carts and collect soiled laundry.

Key Responsibilities

• Laundry Operations: Wash, dry, iron, fold, and sort hotel linens, towels, and guest clothing according to hotel standards.
• Stain and Damage Management: Pre-treat stains, perform minor sewing repairs, and report damaged items.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain washers, dryers, and ironing equipment safely; clean dryer filters and ensure all machinery is functional.
• Inventory and Supplies: Track laundry detergents, sewing kits, and other supplies; ensure proper stock levels.
• Distribution: Deliver clean linens to guest rooms or housekeeping carts and collect soiled laundry from rooms.
• Housekeeping Support: Assist with general housekeeping tasks, including cleaning public areas, vacuuming corridors, and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to hotel safety, hygiene, and chemical handling protocols.
