The job requires standing for long periods, lifting 40-50 pounds, and basic arithmetic. Weekend shifts and customer-service focus are essential to ensure guest privacy and room readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is advantageous.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, press, and fold clothing and other textile items.
• Track and maintain a monthly waste log of stained or discarded items.
• Remove stains from items using appropriate procedures.
• Perform minor sewing duties.
• Maintain an updated inventory of laundry detergents and chemicals; track maintenance on equipment.
• Ensure the facility remains clean and orderly.
• Anticipate and respond to customer queries, concerns, and complaints.
• Perform rotation cleaning duties (steam cleaning, etc.).
• Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.
• Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests (e.g., iron and ironing boards).
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the manager.
