Job summary

Meyer Jabara Hotels in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Laundry Attendant to join our Housekeeping team and ensure clean linens and textiles meet our high standards. You will retrieve dirty linens, sort by type, presoak stains, and operate laundry equipment to wash and dry items.

Essential Functions And Duties

• Retrieve dirty linens from housekeeping
• Separate linens by type and pre-treat stains
• Ensure dirty linens are properly washed and dried
• Fold and stack clean linen on linen carts
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary
• Perform various other duties as assigned

Required Experience, Education, And Skills

• Minimum of high school education
• One (1) year in a Housekeeping role preferred
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Team player
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests
• Knowledge of cleanliness standards

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods standing and walking, and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
