Job summary

Hyatt Regency Green Bay is seeking a Laundry Attendant to manage hotel and guest laundry, including collecting, transporting, sorting and folding. You will fold towels, sort linen, load washers, dryers and distribute linen to storage areas.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, can work under pressure, and enjoy teamwork. The role requires physical effort, including pushing/pulling laundry carts and handling 20–50 lb loads, with a friendly, professional demeanor in a hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with colleagues and guests
• Problem-solving and reasoning are often used.
• Must be able to work in high stress, high pressure situations
• Must be able to push/pull laundry carts with weight between 20-50lbs
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
• Most importantly, HAVE FUN!

Responsibilities

• Understanding the operation of washing machines and dryers
• Deliver linens and towels to the appropriate areas within the hotel
• Removing and sorting linen from the laundry chutes
• Fold linens and towels, and stock storage closets as applicable.
• Responds quickly to requests
• Represent the company professional way at all times
