Job summary

S&L Hospitality is accepting applications for a Laundry Attendant at our Baraboo property. Ideal candidates are detail oriented, self-starters with prior hotel laundry experience, and capable of staying calm and professional during busy periods.

You will operate washers and dryers, fold linens to standard, and assist other housekeeping tasks as needed. Weekend and holiday availability is required. This role may involve lifting up to 25 lbs and adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel laundry experience preferred.
• Ability to work well under limited supervision.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Sort dirty linens daily for washing process.
• Remove stains from badly soiled linen and remove unusable items.
• Operates washers and dryers properly.
• Fold all linens per hotel standards.
• Washes banquet and kitchen laundry, if applicable.
• Washes bedspreads, bed pads and blankets as specified by manufacturer and brand standards.
• Keeps laundry area clean and organized.
• Handle all laundry chemical products properly and report inventory levels to supervisor.
• Assist housekeeping during slow periods or busy times.
• Follow safety and security guidelines and participate in safety trainings.
