Job summary

PACS is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to wash, dry, fold, and organize resident clothing and facility linens. You will ensure items reach the correct resident and keep linens clean and ready, while maintaining a safe laundry area and following sanitation procedures.

Experience in laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare is a plus, and training is provided. Pay rate is $15.50 per hour, with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and ready to work.
• Great attention to detail when sorting clothes.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift and move laundry throughout shift.
• Willingness to pitch in wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize resident clothing and facility linens.
• Ensure residents' clothing returns to the right residents.
• Keep sheets, towels, blankets, and linens clean and ready.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area.
• Follow infection-control and sanitation procedures.
• Treat residents' belongings with care and respect.
• Collaborate with nursing and housekeeping to keep the facility running.
