Job summary

Dyer Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable Laundry Attendant to stock units with clean linens and distribute personal items to residents. You will pick up dirty linens, wash, dry, and fold them while following safety procedures and hygiene standards.

The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to juggle priorities, and effective communication with the team. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work with interruptions and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and promote risk management policies.
• Follow safety procedures including PPE, MSDS, and LOTO rules.
• Handle materials with potential exposure to hazards or fluids.
• Contribute to team goals and collaborate with staff.
• Maintain stock of clean linens and ensure items are passed to residents.
• Follow established policy and procedures at all times.
